I think I understand, but can you confirm or correct me...

www.domain.com has three posts, and by default they are in order as the newest post first.

I then install WP sticky, choose my main sales/converting post, and allocate it to the home page (www.domain.com)

That then makes the post the only content on the home page, but also keeps it&#039;s original permalink, so when clicked on, you would be directed to the post URL.

If that is correct, then isn&#039;t that what google calls &quot;duplicate content&quot;. Also when you talk about double listings, do you mean the same content is indented on the SERP? or two different posts?

Finally, if I backlinked the main sticky post&#039;s original deep URL like you suggest, does that count as backlinks to the home page too? As that post will be on the home page aswell?
